Feeling Someone Else’s Symptoms

July 27th, 2023. Just over a week ago I got up and showered (which usually disperses the aches and creaks in this old man’s frame). Feeling fine, I suddenly experienced a pain in my right lower leg – which was not a type of pain I had experienced before, to my knowledge. Then, a thought popped into my mind about another Healing-in-Jesus’-Name practitioner who told me that when going into a church service he will often feel strange pains, and has learned that they are indicators of similar pains happening in others in his congregation. This short-cuts the healing process, as he only has to call them out to get rid of the pains.

The next thing to happen was that a minister-friend, who, with his wife had previously been healed through my prayer ministry, rang me to ask if I could minister to his wife who had recently been experiencing debilitating pain, which the medics had been unable to help with. Her pain was in the right leg…… As he told me this, I experienced my own pain draining out from my right leg. Excitedly for us both, I arranged with him to meet later in the day. As the three of us met, it was with shared joy that we marvelled at how God was working in us for our healing. There followed an immediate reduction in the lady’s pain. I am privileged – as a septuagenarian – to discover fresh things God wants to teach and accomplish through me!
